The aim of therapy is to provide you with a confidential setting where you have the opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings, to assist your learning, understanding, healing and growth. My role as a therapist is to help you through this process without judgment or telling you what to do. I offer online and telephone appointments to adults for individual therapist.
There are many reasons that people seek out therapy, often it’s because they’re going through a difficult time, there is something in their life that they want to change or accept, or they are just checking in as part of their self-care routine.
Some of the reasons people come to therapy can include experiencing a short-term crisis, such as difficulties at work. Other times people may have experienced several small stressors in a short period of time and feel overwhelmed. Alternatively, others feel now is the right time to explore how they have been affected by major life events, such as childhood trauma, the death of a loved one, a medical diagnosis, or an accident. Therapy can provide an environment to explore these difficulties.
Along with the difficulties mentioned above Autistics and ADHDers can also have additional difficulties. Living in a world that is primarily set to neurotypicals needs can be confusing, distressing and painful. Having a therapist with knowledge and lived experience of AuDHD removes the need for clients to explain their behaviours and/or communication methods. Allowing both the therapist and client to focus on the root cause of difficulties.
It can at times be difficult to open up and talk to the people in your life about your difficulties, for any number of reasons. This can leave some people feeling alone and isolated. This is where therapy can help.
My aim is to provide you the space and time you need to explore your difficulties and yourself, in a non-judgmental environment. I’m not here to tell you how to fix your life, as what would be right for me in your situation could be the wrong thing for you. I will, however, guide you and give you the time you need to work through your issues.
I operate a trust-based scale for my fees based on the income level of clients or the person(s) who are paying for therapy and how long the session is. I offer sessions at 30, 60, and 90 minutes in length. My hourly rate is:
I offer a free, no obligation, 30-minute initial therapy consultation, either via telephone or by videocall.
In the consultation I give you an overview of how I work and advise you of confidentiality.
I will gather some personal information from you, discuss your situation and hopes of therapy. You can ask me any question you have and see if you feel comfortable to work together.
Therapy sessions can last between 30 minutes and 90 minutes per session. The most booked session length is 60 minutes but different clients have different processing needs.
I use a booking management software called Cliniko, which means you are in control of booking and cancelling your appointments. This means you can have weekly, fortnightly, monthly or any frequency of appointment. It is, however worth noting that therapy is most likely to be successful if takes place regularly. Although there are some exceptions to this, it is worth considering if you are unable to commit to regular appointments, this may not be the best time to begin therapy.
Please note I can only see clients located in the UK.

I encourage all clients to speak with at least one or two other counsellors/therapist as well. Each counsellor/therapist has their own style and way of working, and there are many different modalities of therapy. It’s most important for you to notice how you feel when you’re with us. It’s important to feel comfortable with your chosen counsellor/therapist and as though you have made a good choice.
